JOPERSON Trazo and John Kevien Jimenez of the Cebu City-based Chao Sy Boxing Stable returned to winning ways after they dispatched their respective opponents in the Fist of Fury: Binukbokay sa Talisay over the weekened at the Bulacao Sports Complex.
Trazo bounced back from a loss last October by pulling off a dominant unanimous decision win over the erstwhile unbeaten Benjie Jabagat in the main event of the card put up by Chao Sy Boxing Promotions.
The 22-year-old Trazo, thus, claimed his seventh win against two losses, and one draw. Two of his wins came via knockout.
On the other hand, Jabagat, a native of Davao City, saw his seven-fight winning streak come to an end for his first loss as a pro fighter.
The night became more memorable for Trazo after his younger brother Justine emerged triumphant in his professional debut.
Justine showed his immense potential after nailing a majority decision win over Justine Tinambacan in their four-round encounter.
Jimenez, meanwhile, arrested a two-fight skid by scoring a fourth-round knockout victory against Remark Antaran.
Jimenez and Antaran figured in a torrid exchange in the fourth round that sent the crowd to the edge of their seats.
As they traded hard-hitting blows, Jimenez connected on a solid uppercat that dropped Antaran.
Antaran tried to get up but referee Nic Banal called a halt to the fight r after seeing the visiting fighter groggy and on unsteady legs.
Jimenez hiked his slate to 10W-5L-4L, 5KOs while Antaran crashed to 4W-5L, 3KOs.(CCM)
