All police stations were directed to closely monitor their respective areas until “Basyang” leaves Central Visayas.

A standby support force and other police units are on standby to respond to any emergency especially in the southern part of Cebu.

Maranan added that all police units in Cebu and Bohol will be on 24/7 monitoring and will conduct preemptive deployment in high-risk communities.

“Our personnel, logistical resources, and mobility assets are in place to ensure swift response and effective assistance. We urge the public to remain vigilant, heed official advisories, and cooperate with authorities to ensure everyone’s safety,” said Maranan.
