JADE Bialan wrought havoc anew and the University of Cebu (UC)-Main Baby Webmasters chalked up a tight 76-67 overtime win over the University of the Visayas (UV) Baby Green Lancers in the secondary division of the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) Season 26 basketball tournament on Monday, Oct. 5, at the Cebu Coliseum.

After a monster 16-point, 20-rebound, 10-block performance in UC’s 71-62 win over the San Carlos School of Cebu Baby Warriors last Sunday, the 6-foot-8 Bialan once again stuffed the stat sheet after finishing with 11 points, 16 rebounds, and seven blocks in the hard-earned victory.

Bialan’s dominant performance complemented the game-long brilliance of Mark Jovil Datoon, who racked up a game-high 27 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, and two steals.

Jay Xander Bulagsak added 15 points, eight rebounds, five steals, two assists, and a block as UC secured its fifth win in six games.

UV had four players scoring in double figures in Liam Terrence Chua (13 points), Cyruz James Generol (11), Kirbey Borbon (11), and Jancy Llyco Ventura (10) but UV dropped to 2-3 (win-loss).(CCM)
