THE Orlando Magic and the Milwaukee Bucks posted victories they sorely needed, beating separate opponents in Game 3 of their respective first-round playoff series in Eastern Conference on Saturday (Philippine time), April 26.

The Magic nosed out the defending champions Boston Celtics, 95-93, while the Bucks demolished the Indiana Pacers, 117-101.

Orlando and Milwaukee still trail in the two series, 1-2, but they will have a chance to even things up when they host Game 4 of their respective best-of-seven affairs.

Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero carried the Magic on their shoulders by firing 32 and 29 points, respectively.

Wendell Carter Jr. was also solid for Orlando with 10 points and 12 rebounds.

The Celtics were led by Jayson Tatum, who returned from a one-game absence with 36 points.

On the other hand, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Gary Trent Jr. saved the Bucks from falling to a deep 0-3 hole by firing 37 points each.

The Bucks trailed by 10 points at the half but turned things around behind a blistering 39-19 attack in the third quarter.

Milwaukee led after the third frame, 86-75, completing a 21-point turnaround to seal the crucial win.

Pascal Siakam spearheaded the Pacers with 28 points while Aaron Nesmith added 18 markers.(CCM)
