MORE than kilo of suspected shabu was seized from a suspected drug pusher in a buy-bust operatikon in Barangay Caluwasan, Clarin, Bohol on Thursday, Jan. 8.

Police said the suspect, a certain Jimmy, 50, was considered a high-value target.

Operatives of the Special Operations Unit and Drug Enforcement Group seized 1,155 grams of suspected shabu worth P7,854,000 from the suspect.

Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan, chief of the Police Regional Office-Central Visayas (PRO-7), said the arrest of the suspect is part of the intensified campaign against illegal drugs.

“PRO7 will not give illegal drugs or their operators any space. This operation proves our resolve to relentlessly pursue drug personalities and dismantle their networks,” Maranan said.(CDB)
